I decided long ago (“never to walk in anyone’s shadow”).

Kidding.

I did, however, decide some years in the rearview, what cool or good music is. Problem was that I was arrogant and firm about that and I foolishly tried to plaster that wallpaper on every surface I saw.

Doesn’t work that way.

Point being, I know what I like. Now I wanna know what your jam is.

And that’s kinda the point of this here Badass Records project. Music shapes us. Let’s use its tools to examine where we started from and who we became. Or are becoming.

I’m an expert in nothing and the epitome of a novice when it comes to technology, software, and equipment, so what could possibly go wrong?
