Episode 229, JT Daniels

Episode 229, JT Daniels
Badass Records Podcast

I received an invite to attend Flare tha Rebel's album-listening party at Vine Street Brewing Co. a few months ago, and while there, I met JT Daniels, who was displaying some of his artwork.

A little while later, I hit him up to join me for what would become Episode No. 229, and he obliged.

JT is a son, a sibling, a husband, a father, an artist, and more; I'm grateful that he made time to come have a conversation with me.

While we were talking, we touched on his Web site, jtdanielsart.com, and some of the amazing projects on it. We talked family, education, parenting, commissioned work, exhibitions, and -- of course -- we looked at a few of his favorite albums, which were these:

Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 (soundtrack) (2000), various artists

Kanye West's Late Registration (2005)

My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (2010), Kanye West

Flying Lotus' Until the Quiet Comes (2012)

Once you've perused JT's site, please give him an Instagram follow (@jtdaniels_art).

Many thanks to him for the time and to all of you that support the show.
